Welcome to Southern Title & Abstract, Inc., and thank you for visiting our site. We are very proud of our history in the Central Florida real estate market. We are a family owned and operated full service title agency, with over thirty years experience in the title insurance industry. We are some of the precious few who, years ago, learned this by hand, without computers and doc prep companies, therefore, we possess the knowledge and experience that only comes with many years of experience.

Southern Title & Abstract, Inc. was incorporated in 1990 and is licensed under the State of Florida Department of Financial Services. We maintain memberships with the Better Business Bureau of Orlando, Oviedo Chamber of Commerce and Florida Association of Mortgage Brokers. We have achieved awards of excellence every year from our chief underwriter, LandAmerica, for the five years these awards have been presented.

The owners of Southern Title & Abstract, Hugh and Millie Crenshaw, work full time, hand in hand with their staff. Any initial order begins with the title search and examination of your property, which is performed by Hugh.  Management of the offices, accounting, compliance, closings and issuance of title policies is performed by Millie. Our staff is comprised of seasoned professionals with a comparable background to the owners, or who have been trained in-house to mirror our knowledge.

Southern Title & Abstract, Inc. has two offices, set in key locations in Central Florida, which allow convenient access from any given point in the Central Florida area. Additionally, after hours and on-site closings are available. Southern Title & Abstract, Inc. maintains a private office in LandAmerica’s title plant, thus alleviating the need to travel extensively county to county to meet the growing needs of the closing industry. We also maintain our own in-house doc imaging system, providing immediate access to any of our files at a moments notice.
